    Best way to Tour Israel

I have ten days, beginning Sept 9th .What is the best way to utilize my short visit ? ( second visit to Israel) Should we use Tel Aviv, Jerusalum, as well as Haifa as bases to travel to various sites? We would also like at the back end to spend a couple of nights in Eilat?

    Thank you,

    Carol

    Shalom Carol

There are great itineraries for a 10 day tour in Israel at:

    See you soon in Israel

    Dear Carol,

September is a great time to visit Israel. One of the best ways to see the country is by hiring a private guide, and have someone tailor-make the itinerary just for you, based on your areas of interest. You may visit the website of "Israel My Way - Customized Tours" (www.israelmyway.co.il), fill-out the questionnaire at the 'contact' page, and see where this leads you....

    Regards,

    Yoav

Israel may be a small country, but there are tons of things to see and do there. I would suggest that you decide what interests you the most, and customise an itinerary that will suit your needs and likings. If you don't hire a tour guide, I would suggest you rent a car. Your american license will act as an international one, and you shouldn't have any problem

    Enjoy.
