&lt;p&gt;I don&amp;#39;t know if you can rent a television in Israel. You can buy a used (small) set for about 100 US $ over the second-hand ads in the local newspapers or in electronic repair shops. Still you have to check if the apartment has a connection to cables or to an antenna or else you won&amp;#39;t be able to receive any channel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I recommend that you ask your landlord to buy a tv set for you.&lt;/p&gt;
