Hi, Im planning my first trip to Israel for May 2009 Big Smile

So excited!! Im booking my air and hotels through Gate1.

Planning on staying 4 nights at the King David in Jerusalem, 3 nights at the Isrotel Hotel, Dead Sea and then 6 nights at the Dan in Eilat.

Does this plan sound good?? Im a 42 year-old female who will be traveling on her own.

Does anyone know if there are any day tours from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv for the day??

Dear Jackie,
I'm excited for you too… Israel is a great place to travel!
I must say that for my opinion there's not much to do in Eilat for 6 nights unless you want to be all day by the sea.
I recommend instead to stay in Haifa and explore that city with the Bahaian gardens or take a tour that will include Haifa, Acre and other site in the north.
I can highly recommend on a tour guide in Jerusalem and a different one in Tel Aviv as well. Please notice that in 2009 it will be 100 celebrations to Tel Aviv so I'm sure that you can follow by the newspaper or any info place in the hotel to know what kind of shows and performances will be while you'll visit.
