I would like to use a GPS system to get around by car or foot. If I bring one from the states can I get a map of israel loaded into it? If so how would I do this. I have checked with may kinds of GPS systems and some do do international maps but none had one or israel. can you help me. If this cannot be done where can I get a good map to use of israel.?  Carol

I am not a tour guide--just a frequent visiter. GPS systems in English in Israel can be problematic. There is no standard English spelling for many places and if the GPS spells differently than you do....
