Hi,
When
I passed the border from Eilat to Jordan - it took us 3-4 hours.. so you can't be
sure it that the entrance to Jordan will be smooth as you want to. I would spend
the night in Petra, in a great hotel (very nice hotels in Petra area) and then
in the morning continuing to Jerusalem so you can enjoy the view of the road as
well -but this is only my thought! J
Enjoy
your trip!
Adi
